For me, dynamic design, attention to detail, and careful craftsmanship are essential to the creation of art. I take the same care with my necklaces and prints that I do with my paintings, sometimes doing and redoing a piece until I am satisfied with every detail. All my art is based on nature. Exploring the changing effects of light, my paintings are done in highly saturated colors combined with organic shapes to evoke rather than describe the natural world. My jewelry is inspired by ancient jewelry, and features natural uncut stone along with new and vintage beads, metal, wood, and other natural materials to give each piece a completely unique look.
